The position will be responsible for stewarding the iSchool program in Tribal Libraries, Archives & Museums (TLAM). This involves teaching in the Tribal Libraries, Archives & Museums curriculum and working with students to develop and maintain respectful, responsible, and reciprocal relationships with longstanding community partners through ongoing experiential learning projects. The successful candidate will have a developed understanding of information issues and practices and experience working in Indigenous information and community contexts.
Key Responsibilities- Steward the iSchool program in Tribal Libraries, Archives & Museums (TLAM).
- Teach in the TLAM curriculum.
- Work with students on experiential learning projects that foster respectful and reciprocal relationships with community partners.
- Manage the iSchool Laboratory Library, collaborating with a collections librarian and supervising student staff to oversee library operations and user services.
- Serve as the subject liaison for library and information studies and information science.
- Developed understanding of information issues and practices.
- Experience working in Indigenous information and community contexts.
