Electrical Controls Engineer
Location: Eau Claire, WI
Industry: High‑Tech Manufacturing | Global Consumer Products
Our client is a state‑of‑the‑art, global manufacturer of consumable products, recognized for innovation and advanced manufacturing technology. They are seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to support and advance high‑performance production systems at their Eau Claire facility.
This role will focus on designing, programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing electrical control systems within a fast‑paced, high‑tech manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems for automated manufacturing equipment
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems
- Support commissioning, upgrades, and continuous improvement of production lines
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and controls‑related issues to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams on system improvements
- Ensure systems meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Support new equipment installations and technology upgrades
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in electrical controls within a high‑tech manufacturing environment
- Hands‑on experience with PLCs, HMIs, automation, and industrial control systems
- Experience supporting consumable or high‑volume manufacturing strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, global manufacturing organization
