Job Title:
Advanced Manufacturing Engineer
- Lead the planning, execution, and validation of automation and digitization projects, including robotics, IIoT systems, MES enhancements, machine connectivity, and data analytics tools.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for automation, data collection, and smart technology implementation.
- Support deployment and integration of Industrial IoT sensors, machine monitoring platforms, digital work instructions, and connected operator tools.
- Collaborate with IT, Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to ensure seamless commissioning of advanced technology solutions.
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize automation systems—including PLCs, robots, and vision systems—as part of project deliverables.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation including PFMEAs, process flows, control plans, and standard work with a digitization-first approach.
- Lead data-driven continuous improvement projects using OEE, downtime analytics, and machine data to drive performance gains.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee installation, commissioning, and acceptance of new automated equipment.
- Train cross-functional teams on new technologies, ensuring adoption and long-term sustainability.
- Ensure all digitization and automation initiatives comply with safety standards, cybersecurity protocols, and company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, automation engineering, or Industry 4.0 deployment.
- Hands‑on experience with PLCs, robotics systems, SCADA/MES platforms, or IIoT devices.
- Strong understanding of data collection, machine connectivity, and industrial communication protocols.
- Experience leading complex technical projects within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 platforms, digital twins, or automated quality inspection systems.
