Introduction
The WI Department of Transportation (WisDOT), Division of Transportation System Development (DTSD) is seeking an interested and qualified individual to fill an Environmental Analysis & Review Specialist Advanced vacancy in the Bureau of Technical Services.
This full time permanent position will be headquartered at one of the Wisconsin DOT DTSD offices in the following cities:
Madison, Eau Claire, Superior, Wisconsin Rapids, Waukesha, Green Bay, La Crosse, Rhinelander
.
This position offers a hybridized work schedule. The position will be headquartered at and required to work from the one of the offices listed above at least 2 days per week
. All employees working a hybrid work schedule are still expected to telework from within the State of Wisconsin. This topic will be discussed more at the time of the interview.

Under general supervision, this position provides statewide program leadership and serves as a Department of Transportation Environmental Process and Documentation Specialist. This position provides environmental process and policy guidance to department staff and consultants; develops and updates policy documents such as those in the WisDOT FDM; develops and delivers environmental training to department staff, consultants or contractors; and provides QA/QC review of department environmental documents.
