Position: Client Relationship Consultant 2 (Banker) - Eau Claire Main, WI

Client Relationship Consultant

Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture client relationships through in‑person, appointment, and virtual channels.
  • Conduct client needs assessments and recommend deposit and loan products tailored to individual goals.
  • Open and complete service requests for new consumer and business accounts, including credit applications.
  • Provide greeting, basic transaction processing, and consistent optimal client experience.
  • Proactively reach out and follow up with clients to learn about financial needs and channel preferences.
  • Educate clients on emerging and self‑service digital products to meet their financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with branch team members and partners to best serve clients and maintain operating accuracy.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum three to four years of job‑related, retail banking experience, or comparable experience and training.
Licensing & Registration
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
  • Must undergo required registration process, including a criminal background and credit check.
Preferred Skills
  • Proven ability to build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach and follow up.
  • Strong client engagement and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and support systems.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
  • Able to explore and identify client needs while leveraging a digital‑first mindset.
  • Basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet client needs both reactively and proactively.
  • Prior experience in the financial services industry preferred.
