Loan Servicing Specialist

Description
A friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Loan Servicing Specialist is needed to join our team. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.

• Prepares and reviews loan documents to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and bank policy.
• Researches past loan history to identify necessary adjustments and resolve customer and loan officer requests.
• Monitors collateral insurance and tracks it under bank policy.
• Prepares adverse actions, loan modifications, extensions, mortgage satisfactions, lien releases, partial releases, subordinations, paid notes, and final escrow statements.
• Supports servicing document processing and accounting, including general ledger balancing, data entry, document review, filing, and payment research/audit functions.
• Ensures correct posting of payments and manages loan transaction payoff.
• Sets up automatic payments, payment processing, loan advances, construction draws, participations, and other core system maintenance.
• Assists other departments as needed and performs additional duties as assigned.

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Two (2) years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Two (2) years of experience in loan processing or customer service.

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Monday – Friday work week.
