Responsibilities
- Process, create, edit, and format client deliverables (e.g., tax returns, extensions, etc.) including software setup, maintenance and delivery.
- Review, proofread, and validate deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and adherence to all applicable quality control and compliance standards.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage work to meet client, internal and external deadlines, including proactive communication of status, timeliness and workflow questions.
- Follow through on commitments, identify issues and escalate appropriately to support timely and accurate delivery.
- Support special projects, seasonal tasks and other needs as assigned.
The successful candidate will have:
- High school diploma or GED required, high school diploma preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience required; experience in a professional services environment preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to producing accurate work in a timely manner, incorporating feedback to continuously improve quality
- Takes initiative to develop technical skills and apply knowledge with support and direction
- Proven commitment to providing exceptional client service
- Strong organizational skills; able to effectively prioritize assignments and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion
- May require some overtime hours
- Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
The pay rate range for this job position are listed below. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees. The national pay rate range is $18.00 to $34.10
