Job Duties:

Prepare patients and perform exercise or pharmacologic stress tests, Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythm during procedures, Administer medications per protocol and respond to adverse reactions, Collaborate with cardiologists to ensure patient safety and accurate test results, Clinic Nurse Visits.

- Experience or 'Must have' skills: 1 year of stress test experience. Prefer some clinic experience.

- Average # of studies per day: 4-8 per day.

- EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use::
Muse & Cingo Dynamics for stress.

- Department Specific Equipment: GE.

- Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech?: RN Lead.

- Radiologist in-house?:
Cardiologist in-house during the day.

- Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department):
Nuc Med Techs do IVs, May be asked to do IV starts for Echo Techs.

- Shifts & Scheduling: 5- 8 hr shifts/wk. M & W 7-4, Tu, Th, & F 8-5.

- Weekend Requirements:

Any color scrubs, clean & professional.

- Department specific orientation: 1- 3 shifts with a preceptors .
