Responsibilities

• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
• Confer with network users about solutions to existing system problems.
• Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
• Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records. Load computer tapes and disks, and install software and printer paper or forms.
• Train people in computer system use.
• Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel to facilitate purchases.
• Implement and provide technical support for voice services and equipment, such as private branch exchange, voice mail system, and telecom system.
• Research new technologies by attending seminars, reading trade articles, or taking classes, and implement or recommend the implementation of new technologies.

• Lifting and carrying:
  The ability to lift or carry items of 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Climbing:
  The ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, or stairs.
• Working in confined spaces:
  The ability to work in confined spaces.
• Responding to sounds:
  The ability to respond quickly to sounds.
• Manual dexterity:
  The ability to use fine motor abilities for detailed tasks, such as handling small or delicate objects.
• Balance and coordination:
  The ability to ensure stability during task performance, such as executing precise movements.
• Hearing:
  The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
• Vision:
  The ability to see clearly at approximately 20 inches or less (near visual acuity) and at 20 feet or more (far visual acuity).

• Experience in networking including switches, routers, and wireless.
• Ability to work alone or in a team.
• Strong background in hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong background in troubleshooting various Windows operating system versions.
• Experience with video, audio, coaxial, and telephone systems is a plus.
• Experience working with property management and point of sale software is a plus.
