2nd Shift Mechanic

This position is responsible for the maintenance of Menards‑owned equipment and vehicles, including light, medium, and heavy‑duty truck and forklift repairs. The 2nd shift pays an extra $3.00 per hour. The position requires four 10‑hour shifts. Days off vary, and every third Saturday is from 7 a.m. to noon.

• Perform mechanical repairs to trucks and trailers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Perform accurate and timely repairs.
• Look for additional repairs beyond what’s listed.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks on equipment.
• Experience in diagnostic engine repair.
• Experience in truck drivetrain repair.
• Must have direct mechanical experience or an accredited Technician Degree.
• Must be reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask.
• Must have parts knowledge.
• Must be able to take direction from management and work independently.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

• Pay based on experience: $25.00/hr – $35.00/hr.
