JOB SUMMARYResponsible for the cash operations of ATMs and Air Vac machines with first line maintenance responsibilities.
Hours:
4-10 hour shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
- Provide cash and courier services to ATM and Air Vac customers as required.
- Perform courier functions such as cash replenishment, ATM and smart safe pulls, coin delivery, and deposits.
- Perform basic First Line Maintenance functions such as clearing jams, rebooting machines, replenishing receipt paper, running diagnostics, software updates, and escalating issues to tech support.
- Partner with the territory dispatcher to execute dispatch requests as scheduled and requested.
- Complete tasks assigned by supervisor or applicable Cash Depot staff members.
- Communicate inventory and support requests to complete scheduled tasks accurately and timely.
- Perform administrative paperwork in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain department metric standards in efficiency, safety, first time fix rate, and other key metrics.
- Assist other technicians and provide training or ride‑along training as needed.
- Follow all security procedures and policies.
- Maintain a professional image, both person and vehicle.
- Maintain inventory standards as required.
- Attend training as requested in Wisconsin and maintain technical competencies of ATMs and Air Products.
- Identify and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Operate as a team player.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Flexible work schedule that could include 4 or 5 day work week.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- High School Degree or GED.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to be insured through the company’s risk insurer.
- Ability to drive a vehicle over 50% of the shift.
- Ability to lift and perform tasks safely.
- Experience in troubleshooting or electro‑mechanical work.
- Ability to follow expectations set in the Field Service Handbook.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with internal and external contacts.
- Proven ability to be organized, detailed, multi‑tasking, critical thinker, accurate and a problem solver.
- Ability to adapt to change in the workplace or assignment of duties.
Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, knocking, climbing, crawling, squatting, bending and hand‑tool usage. Items that may need to be handled can weigh from 34 lbs. up to 310 lbs. (ATMs may weigh 280–875 lbs. requiring two technicians). Employees must be able to lift such items without assistance.
Other physical requirements:
Vision (near, distance, color, peripheral, depth), normal sense of sound.
This full‑time role operates in a traveling capacity within a van (and sometimes more depending on the assigned route) and will be exposed to weather conditions. The role also involves operation at customer locations (approximately 50% of shift). Team members receive direction via phone or email. Routine use of lifting equipment, hand tools, iPad and cell phone is required.
