The Business Loan Representative Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Business Loan Representative Team. This includes maintaining an in-depth knowledge of business lending compliance regulations and requirements to ensure operations are in accordance with established policies, procedures, and legal requirements. The position provides expertise, mentoring, and guidance to the Business Loan Representatives Supervisors. This role works closely with the Director of Commercial Loan and Deposit Operations and other management to develop and implement appropriate processes, procedures and business loan processing and documentation requirements to mitigate risk and meet compliance requirements.

- Compensation: $97,200-$111,800 annually (candidates with significant related experience may be higher)

- Bachelor's Degree or the Equivalent in Experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance
- Seven years experience working in the field of commercial loan compliance and documentation or equal experience
- Four years supervisory experience
- Must be bondable upon hire
- Extensive business lending compliance knowledge, including the ability to interpret and apply regulations, policies, documentation standards, and updated legal requirements.
- Strong technical capability, including quick learning of new technologies, proficiency with Royal's digital tools, Microsoft Office, and loan documentation systems such as Laser Pro.
- Leadership and coaching expertise, with the ability to guide supervisors, develop team members, set expectations, and support professional growth and future leadership development.
- Analytical and decision-making strength, especially in evaluating complex loan scenarios, managing exceptions, overseeing workflow, and creating efficient processes.
- Adaptability and continuous improvement mindset, including the ability to navigate change, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate across departments to drive operational efficiency.
- Previous experience supervising leaders
- This is a full-time, exempt level position. Hours will generally be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00pm.
- This position is part of Royal's workplace flexibility program and has the ability to be hybrid after a few months of training and proficiency in the position.
- Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am - 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first week of employment. Out of town learners will be reimbursed costs related to travel and lodging.
