Picture the start of your shift: you review the day’s work orders, study the blueprints, and set up a Bystronic press brake for the first run. You dial in tooling, adjust backgauges, and run a first-article check. Throughout the day, you fine‑tune settings, verify dimensions, and collaborate with teammates to keep quality high and production moving. You’ll wrap up by performing routine maintenance and leaving your cell clean, safe, and ready for the next job.

• Configure and operate press brake equipment to form metal parts to specification.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot the press brake for peak performance.
• Monitor production runs and adjust machine settings to maintain quality.
• Inspect finished components to verify accuracy and adherence to tolerances.
• Partner with team members to drive efficiency and uphold safety practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or metal fabrication is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience running a press brake or similar forming equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Solid math and measurement skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Curiosity and adaptability to learn new processes and technology.
