We are seeking a collaborative team player to be an integral part of our fast-paced production team. You take pride in your work and routine tasks are done with dedication to accuracy. Working side-by-side with other manufacturing team members, you’ll be part of the packaging and inspection team, making sure that our products are packaged correctly and in a timely manner.

Starting Wage: $17.75 per hour plus shift differential on 2nd and 3rd shift. After 3 months receive $18.00 per hour.

The packing/inspection role involves collaborating with the production team to ensure products are packaged correctly and in a timely manner.

• Package product within product specifications, including checking for correct codes and dates.
• Inspect packaging materials for defects and document results accurately and neatly.
• Complete paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following GMPs.
• Support teammates and actively contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements

• Attention to Detail: Responsible for packaging product within specifications and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Team Player: Positive attitude, communicates well with coworkers, and supports teamwork.

• Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent; prior work experience is a plus but not required.
• Preferred: 1-3 years of previous assembly line or manufacturing experience.

• Familiar with all aspects of line operations.
• Deals effectively with people.
• Must be able to count and copy figures to reports and use scales.
• Basic computer skills.

• Standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing over obstacles, balancing, grasping, reaching, crouching, sitting.
• Ability to move wrists, hands, and/or fingers to adjust machine parts and package finished goods.
• Ability to perform physical work, exercising up to 60 lbs. of strength frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Must hear well enough to converse on telephone, must see well enough to read reports. Must be able to distinguish colors.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English well enough to communicate with supervisors and peers.
• Must read and write English at high school level.
