Industrial Mechanic - Distribution Center

Job Description

Paid trainee positions immediately available. Additional compensation will be provided based on prior experience and education.

• 1st shift (~6‑7 am to 2‑3 pm)
• 2nd shift (~3‑4 pm to 11‑12 pm) + shift differential
• 3rd shift (~10‑11 pm to 6‑7 am) + shift differential

• Ensure regular preventive maintenance on all equipment
• Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair of equipment
• Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair
• Install new equipment
• Weld and fabricate metal parts as needed
• Repair and maintain buildings and grounds for the distribution center

• Ability to lift 50‑70 lbs and use hand and power tools
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, stoop, and pull for extended periods
• Willingness to work extra hours
• Mechanical experience with a strong desire to learn continuously
• Preferred experience or education in preventive maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulic & pneumatic repair, 3‑phase AC/DC testing, electric forklift repair, conveyor maintenance, VFD and motor soft starters, PLC programming & schematic reading, welding, and metal fabrication
