POSITION SUMMARY:

The Reliability Specialist plays a key role in building and sustaining a proactive, best-in-class maintenance culture within Aseptic Filling and Secondary Packaging operations. This role partners closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to reduce recurring equipment issues, improve asset reliability, and drive disciplined use of preventive and predictive maintenance best practices. As the subject matter expert for the aseptic platform, the Reliability Specialist provides technical leadership, coaching, and problem-solving expertise while supporting Nestlé Ways of Standard Manufacturing (NWSM) – Maintenance standards.

This position exercises independent judgment, provides indirect leadership on a daily basis, and drives continuous improvement across people, processes, and equipment reliability.

SHIFT: 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Schedule flexibility required to support training, TPM/TPMS events, and continuous improvement initiatives

EXPERIENCE AND

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Associate Degree + 3–5 years of maintenance experience in aseptic or food manufacturing or 7+ years of maintenance experience in aseptic or food manufacturing

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with 2–3 years of experience working with aseptic fillers and cappers (preferred)

Exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance planning, and maintenance execution

Experience coordinating maintenance activities while considering safety, food safety, and operational constraints

Experience with TPM or continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 7 KSR + digital tools)

5+ years of manufacturing or technical leadership experience preferred

5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience preferred

SKILLS:

  • Strong problem-solving skills, including Root Cause Analysis
  • Ability to analyze data and make sound technical recommendations
  • Ownership mindset with proactive cooperation and accountability
  • Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Reliable, motivated, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Detail-oriented with accurate documentation practices
  • Strong team player with positive communication and engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to support and strengthen a positive Nestlé culture and values
