CNC Machinists

Overview

Riverside Machine & Engineering has been in business 45+ years offering precision machining for medical, aviation, space, and defense. Our vacuum aluminum brazing capabilities are in high demand across top aerospace and defense programs, keeping our shop busy with long‑term projects and stable work. We are hiring CNC Machinists for our Mill, Swiss and Turn departments.

$20 - $35 hourly base + shift differential (hourly rate based on skills and experience for level I, II, III). $3,000.00 sign‑on bonus. Relocation assistance available. 2nd Shift (Mon‑Thurs) 3:15 PM‑1:45 AM:
Base hourly rate + 10% differential.

• Setup/operate CNC mills, Swiss machines, and lathes
• Read blueprints, GD&T, and job routings
• Load/verify programs, manage tooling and offsets
• Conduct in‑process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges
• Run multiple machines when cycle times allow

• CNC experience (all levels welcome)
• Associate degree / technical certificate OR equivalent experience
• GD&T knowledge a plus (training and shop floor support provided)

$3,000.00 sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance. Health, dental, 401(k), profit sharing, PTO/holidays, tuition reimbursement, skills training. We provide GD&T training and simplified work instructions so machinists can focus on making parts, not decoding symbols. Career path:
Machinist I → II → III → Setup/Programmer. Clean and safe shop.
