Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is a truck up‑fitting and repair facility that designs, assembles, sells, rents, and services trucks, cranes and other heavy equipment. This position involves assisting with the up‑fitting and customizing of vehicles used by utility companies, including aerial cranes, bucket trucks, boom trucks, dump trucks, conveyors, digger derricks, pressure diggers, aerial lifts and more.

Monday – Friday, Day shift 5am–3:30pm.

Welding mix includes .035

MIG, .045flux core, TIG, and push‑pull .035 on aluminum. Metal thickness ranges from 14gauge to 1inch, 3/16in to ½in and mild steel. Machines range from 280to350amp output.

• Maintain a safe work environment at all times.
• Quickly and safely evaluate the needed steps to finish the task.
• Identify the materials and tooling required for the task.
• Cut, bend, punch, shape and weld metal to create parts such as brackets, bumpers, outrigger sub‑frames and larger components.
• Allocate time spent on repair orders accurately.
• Produce products that meet Custom Truck’s quality standards.
• Ensure timely turnaround of vehicles.
• Operate overhead and jib cranes as well as forklifts.
• Identify ways to improve safety, quality, and productivity in the fabrication process.
• Follow job instructions correctly.
• Communicate with colleagues in the fabrication department and other departments.
• Clean and maintain shop and equipment.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Fabrication Manager or other managers.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge of equipment and materials by attending educational workshops.

• Previous welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to pass a welding certification test.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
