Charter Steel is looking for a
** DAY shift
** Banding Operator - **$2,000 Sign on
** bonus!

**** Banding | Day Shift (5AM - 5PM) | $24.25/hr
*** Enter and monitor order data into the computer.
* Accurately identify coils by printing and applying tags throughout the process.
* Operate coil compactor and other coil handling equipment.
* Operate hydraulic and pneumatic hand tools.
* Operate a forklift.
* Teamwork & communication is essential in this role
* Follow all safety & quality procedures
* Frequent standing, walking, kneeling. Push/pull, and lifting up to 20lbs. Reaching over 15" away from your body##

* ** Schedule**: 12 hour shifts on our 5-2-2-5 schedule. You would work 5 day on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 5 days off;
Have every other weekend off!

** A **$2,000 SIGN‐ON BONUS
** paid out after 90 days + quarterly bonuses + annual profit‐sharing bonus!

* What You Bring:

*** A high school diploma or GED (we can help through our FREE GEDWorks program)
* Comfortable with basic math (like counting and simple calculations).
* Team player who works well and communicates with others
* Background in manufacturing or industrial production, assembly, warehouse, welding, construction, metals, steel, or other hands on jobs
* Forklift & Overhead Crane experience is a plus!
* Strong safe work mindset
