Job Description & How to Apply Below
3D Printing Post-Processing Technician Build what’s next. Advance your craft. Contribute with purpose.

Intek Plastics Group is growing and investing in people. With more resources, better perks, and a commitment to professional development, you’ll find support to learn, stretch, and move your career forward.

A Day In This Role You start your shift at a clean, organized workstation. Work orders and master parts are ready. You select the right tools and media, then apply finishing techniques to transform cast parts so they match the master—surface by surface, edge by edge. Throughout the day you switch between hands-on work and quality checks, recording dimensions, finishes, and any observations.

You collaborate with teammates, share tips with newer operators, and keep the Quality Management System front and center. Before parts move on or ship out, you perform a final visual and dimensional inspection to confirm repeatable, high-quality results. You wrap up your shift by updating documentation and returning your area to a spotless, safe state.

What You’ll DoUse finishing tools, techniques, and equipment to make cast parts identical to master parts.

Perform visual and dimensional inspections prior to shipment for consistent, repeatable quality.

Apply the correct finishing level by choosing methods that achieve specified outcomes.

Accurately complete all required production and quality documentation.

Communicate clearly with teammates, supervisors, and cross-functional partners.

Follow quality standards and actively support the company’s Quality Management System.

Assist with training efforts and help maintain a safe, organized, and productive work area.

Keep your workstation clean and orderly throughout the shift.

Take on additional duties as assigned by your manager.

What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

Keen eye for visual inspection and spotting quality issues.

Exceptional attention to detail; follow work instructions precisely.

Reliable, consistent attendance.

Experience in manufacturing, finishing, assembly, plastics, machining, or quality inspection is preferred, not required.

Physical Requirements Regularly lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally lift up to 75 lbs with assistance.

Support plant operations within a 24-hour, 5-day-per-week production environment.

Regular, reliable attendance.

Work Environment This is a hands-on manufacturing/production setting working with tools, materials, and finished parts. Team members follow safety procedures, quality standards, and supervisor instructions at all times.
