A Day in This Role You start your shift by reviewing the production schedule and the master reference parts. With a clear plan in hand, you move to the finishing area to transform cast components into final, customer-ready parts:
Apply a range of post-processing methods and hand/power tools to bring cast parts to match master references and required specifications.
Confirm surface quality and dimensional accuracy with visual checks and gauges before release.
Select and execute the right level of finish based on job requirements, knowing the techniques to achieve each tier.
Record production and quality data with precision so work is traceable and repeatable.
Coordinate with teammates, supervisors, and partner departments to keep work flowing smoothly.
Follow established quality standards and contribute to our Quality Management System (QMS).Assist with training initiatives and help sustain a safe, orderly, and efficient workspace.
Keep your station clean and organized from first part to last.
Take on related tasks as assigned by your manager to support the line.
What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent.
Clear, professional communication and strong interpersonal skills.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read work instructions and follow them exactly.
Keen eye for defects and dimensional issues.
Exceptional attention to detail and consistent, reliable attendance.
Preferred (not required): background in manufacturing, finishing, assembly, plastics, machining, or quality inspection.
Physical Demands Frequently lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance.
Stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, twist, and carry tools/materials during 8–12 hour shifts.
Support a 24-hour, 5-day-per-week production operation.
Dependable, regular attendance.
Work Setting Hands-on manufacturing environment working with tools, materials, and finished parts. Safety procedures, quality standards, and supervisor direction must be followed at all times.
