About The OpportunityAs a Reverse Automotive Technician at EMR, you’ll play a key role in our daily operations at our Eau Claire, WI location. In this role, you’ll assist with end-of-life vehicle processing to prepare cars for the next step of the recycling process. You will also assist with operating equipment to load, unload, and transport material throughout the yard.
Key Responsibilities- Process cars by draining fluids, removing batteries, and other hazardous materials
- Operate front-end loader safely to move material
- Organize product for efficient transportation and inventory
- Assist with other yard tasks to maintain a clean and organized facility
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Mechanically inclined, organized and detail orientated
- Ability to work both independently and on a team
- Ability to lift and handle 50 pounds
- Monday – Friday, no nights or weekends
- Full-time, year-round
