Shape what's next at Intek Plastics You’ll join us as a full-time Injection Molding Production Technician on 1st shift, working Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Under new ownership within the Intek Plastics Group, we’re expanding opportunities for growth and enhancing perks while building a workplace that champions your success.

A day in the life Start your morning checking in with the shift leader or mold technician to confirm priorities. You’ll touch base with the outgoing operator to understand job status, then move into steady, focused production—reviewing job packets, setting up for secondary operations, inspecting parts, and keeping documentation accurate and up to date. Throughout the day, you collaborate with quality, production, and teammates to keep things safe, efficient, and right the first time.

Before heading out, you complete end-of-shift paperwork and leave a clean, organized workspace for the next crew.

What you’ll do Confirm daily work assignments with the shift leader or mold tech and align on priorities

Communicate with the prior shift operator to capture job status and any issues

Ask questions early and request help to ensure safe, proper operation

Review job paperwork for accuracy before starting production

Complete production records (shift reports, route sheets, and related forms)
Perform secondary operations per work instructions

Inspect parts continuously to verify they meet quality standards

Stock and maintain supplies required at your station

Escalate concerns about parts, instructions, packaging, or equipment promptly

Assist with onboarding and training of new operators as needed

Keep your area clean, organized, and safe; follow our Quality Management System Complete end-of-shift cleanup and documentation; perform other duties as assigned

What you bring

Education & Experience High school diploma or GED preferred1–3 months of manufacturing or related experience preferred (we provide training)
Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered

Skills & Abilities Read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures

Basic written communication skills for forms and reports

Comfort engaging with coworkers and supervisors

Solid basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide, work with fractions, decimals, and percentages

Follow verbal/written directions and resolve routine production issues
