This position offers a clear pathway for advancement. Team members may begin in a production role and receive comprehensive, hands-on training.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for maintaining the required quality of the non-ferrous products.
- Remove large pieces of plastic.
- Remove stainless steel.
- Remove any non-conforming material.
- Keeps picking areas clean and orderly.
- Assists with cleanup duties at the end of production.
- Identifies different metals and sorts the various grades according to specifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and consistently wear required PPE.
- Along with other duties, as assigned.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a proactive approach to work, a strong commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn and grow. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and prior experience in metals or industrial operations is advantageous. Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude are essential.
