At Intek Plastics, our new ownership within the Intek Plastics Group is fueling advancement opportunities and elevating perks—so your growth isn’t an afterthought. Join us full time on 1st shift (7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday) as a Plastics Press Operations Specialist and help us deliver safe, efficient, and accurate production.
Your mission
Own your station, own your results, and support the team around you.
Start strong: confirm assignments with the shift leader or mold technician
Gain context: connect with the outgoing operator to capture status and issues
Run right: verify job paperwork, then execute production and secondary ops per instructions
Prove quality: inspect parts and assemblies against standards throughout the run Document clearly: complete shift reports, route sheets, and required records
Stay stocked: gather and maintain supplies for uninterrupted work
Flag problems: report concerns with parts, instructions, packaging, or equipment immediately
Model excellence: assist in training new operators; follow our Quality Management System Finish well: clean and organize the area and wrap up paperwork at shift endBe adaptable: perform additional duties as assigned
What it takes
Education & Experience High school diploma or GED preferred1–3 months in manufacturing or a related field preferred (training available)
Equivalent mixes of education and experience considered
Skills & Abilities Read and adhere to safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures
Write basic documentation and reports
Communicate comfortably with teammates and supervisors
Perform core math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages)
Follow directions and resolve routine production challenges
