Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA

Overview

Grace Lutheran Communities is hiring dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join the Willowbrook team. We have part-time night shift (NOC) opportunities available and starting pay of $18.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience.

• Monitor and record health and behavior of residents and clients. Communicate such information with other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Know and follow residents' and clients' individual care plans
• Know the emergency and evacuation procedures established for the unit/facility
• Maintain a working knowledge of the regulations governing long-term care
• Attend required orientation and training; maintain current Certified Nursing Assistant certification
• Use all materials, food and supplies resourcefully; report needed items to the Director
• Maintain a positive work and living environment
• Assist in household and housekeeping duties daily, including inventory, storage of supplies, light housekeeping, and other duties as assigned by the DON, Director or Administrator
• Be available for staff meetings and trainings as requested
• Clean resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and furniture according to job standards/procedures
• Follow manufacturer’s procedural guidelines when using tools, handling chemicals, operation of equipment; removal of debris; removal of soiled linens

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Ability to work part-time night shifts (NOC) as required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
