PRN Clinical Educator RN

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Clinical Education Specialist, providing hands‑on education and support to patients using an innovative cardiology device designed to help prevent heart failure. This role combines clinical expertise with patient‑focused teaching to ensure safe device use, strong adherence, and improved outcomes. Details below:

  Varies. Flexibility around nurses availability. Initially you can expect 1-2 visits per week with each visit lasting approx. 1-2 hours (totaling roughly 2-4 hours per week)
• Location:
  
  Both in-home and in‑clinic based on patient preference. The clinic is located in Eau Claire, WI.

• Educate patients and caregivers on device use, maintenance, and monitoring in clinic and home settings
• Provide individualized instruction, troubleshooting, and follow‑up support
• Collaborate with physicians, clinic staff, and device representatives to coordinate education plans
• Document patient interactions and maintain accurate training records
• Reinforce care protocols and promote patient confidence with the technology

• Current RN license in Wisconsin
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required
• Cardiology, cardiac care, or patient education experience preferred
• Strong communication and teaching skills
• Willingness to travel locally to patient homes and clinic sites
