Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, 54701!

Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Eau Claire, WI

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Full-Time | Weekend requirement every 3rd Friday, Saturday, and Sunday | Self-scheduling available

• Provide direct nursing care to labor, postpartum, and couplet patients in an LDRP setting where labor and postpartum units are separate
• Perform neonatal assessment and care, including management of stable newborns
• Titrate drips including oxytocin, insulin, and magnesium per physician orders
• Monitor and interpret fetal monitoring strips using GE monitors and the Fetalink EFM system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including anesthesia (in-house 24/7), nurse aides, and tele techs on adjacent units
• Float to other units as a sitter on the same rotation as staff nurses when the need arises

• Active RN licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Demonstrated comfort with neonatal resuscitation and NRP protocols
• Experience caring for labor patients, postpartum patients, and mother-baby couplets
• Ability to titrate IV drips including oxytocin, insulin, and magnesium

• Familiarity with AWHONN staffing ratio guidelines
• Experience with common OB diagnoses including pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, postpartum hemorrhage, and newborn respiratory distress
• Prior experience with Fetalink EFM system or GE fetal monitoring equipment

• Work in a well-supported unit with anesthesia in-house 24/7, nurse aide support, and self-scheduling flexibility
• Scrubs are provided on-site, and a structured orientation program is included covering online training, labor, and postpartum days
