• Responsibilities and Clinical Details:
  • Comfortable with neonatal resuscitation, labor, postpartum, and couplet care.
  • Experienced in managing patients with common obstetric diagnoses such as pre‑eclampsia, gestational diabetes, postpartum hemorrhage, and neonatal respiratory distress.
  • Skilled in reading fetal monitor strips independently; monitors are GE brand with Fetalink system.
  • Titration of drips such as oxytocin, insulin, magnesium is required.
  • Support for diverse units including labor and postpartum.
  • Potential to float to other units as a sitter if needed, following same rotation as staff nurses.
  • On‑site equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and vents primarily used for neonatal care.
  • Orientation includes online training, one day in labor, and one day in postpartum care.
• Additional Information:
  • Local candidate pool, with candidate residing within 80 miles.
  • Candidates must document prior experience with the facility if applicable, with end date at least 6 months prior if previously employed there.
