Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, 54701!

Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Eau Claire, WI

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Weekend rotation every 3rd Friday, Saturday, and Sunday | Self-scheduling available

• Provide direct nursing care to labor, postpartum, and couplet patients in an LDRP setting where labor and postpartum units are separate
• Monitor and care for stable newborn patients, including those requiring respiratory support such as CPAP and BiPAP
• Titrate drips including oxytocin, insulin, and magnesium per physician orders and unit protocols
• Manage and monitor patients with diagnoses including pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, postpartum hemorrhage, newborn respiratory distress, and routine pregnancy
• Collaborate with anesthesia (in-house 24/7) and support staff including nurse aides; OB/Neonatologist is not in-house 24/7
• Float to other units as a sitter on the same rotation schedule as staff nurses if the need arises

• Active RN license with Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Proficiency and comfort with neonatal resuscitation
• Experience caring for labor patients, postpartum patients, and mother-baby couplets
• Ability to titrate drips (oxytocin, insulin, magnesium)

• Familiarity with AWHONN staffing ratio guidelines
• Experience with GE fetal monitoring systems and/or Fetalink EFM system
• Comfort working in a combined labor and postpartum LDRP-style environment

• Work in a well-supported unit with anesthesia in-house 24/7, nurse aide support, and scrubs provided
• Enjoy flexibility through self-scheduling with no on-call or standby requirements
