Landscape Crew Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Crew Lead to oversee daily landscape installations and lead a crew in the field. This role combines hands‑on work with leadership, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.

• Lead and manage a landscape installation crew on residential and commercial projects
• Coordinate daily job tasks and ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule
• Perform hands‑on landscaping work, primarily softscapes, to include:
  • Installing edging and accent boulders
  • Landscape bed prep and installing rock or mulch
  • Planting trees, shrubs, and perennials
  • Grading and finish work
• Ensure job site safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
• Communicate with customers and management regarding project progress
• Train and mentor crew members
• Operate and maintain landscape tools and light equipment
• Read and execute landscape plans and layouts

• 2+ years of professional landscape installation experience
• Prior crew lead or foreman experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and a positive, team‑focused attitude
• Physically able to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions
• Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred)
• Equipment operation experience is a plus
