We are hiring a 2nd Shift Quality Technician for our Inspection department. The role focuses on ensuring that all incoming materials and finished goods meet company and customer quality standards through inspections, first‑piece set‑up, and First Article Inspections.
Responsibilities- Use appropriate measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensional and functional requirements.
- Conduct in‑process validations, inspections, and monitoring, and analyze the quality of manufacturing processes and products.
- Perform containment activities to prevent potential or additional quality defects.
- Prepare formal documented First Article Inspection (FAI) reports for internal and external customers.
- Recommend and develop control charts for monitoring and improving performance.
- Assist in product reviews and analysis to determine cause and/or disposition.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
- Problem‑solve for both product and manufacturing processes.
- Provide support to design, manufacturing, and quality engineering functions for data collection, analysis, product review, and process capabilities.
- Communicate effectively with cross‑functional areas, including supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, quality engineering, customer service, and production planning.
- Participate in lean activities as required.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- High School diploma; preferred diploma or associate degree in Quality Assurance or a related manufacturing field.
- Minimum 0‑2 years of quality assurance experience.
- General knowledge of standard inspection equipment and basic hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, steel rules, pin gauges, go‑no‑go gauges, CMM, and vision equipment.
- Knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), engineering drawings and specifications, sampling techniques, and safety information.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, AS 9100, FDA Quality System Regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills with the ability to think independently.
- Demonstrated record of meeting high standards of quality, quantity, and dependability (attendance and punctuality).
- Good listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work well with others.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Detail oriented with accurate record and file keeping.
- Initiative to work as a self‑starter, suggesting new ideas, improving efficiency, and organizing work time to meet deadlines.

Shift and Compensation- 2nd shift:
Monday–Thursday 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM plus overtime as needed. - Training on split shift:
Monday–Thursday 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM. - Base hourly rate (non‑exempt) plus 10% shift pay.
