Job Description

Quality Control Technicians work three or four 12‑hour shifts each week, from 7 am to 7 pm on a 2‑2‑3 schedule.

As a Quality Control Technician, you will
  • Perform testing of finished goods per written test method procedures and guidelines. Test methods may include:
    • Rewet
    • Absorbent Capacity
    • Side Seam Bond Strength
    • Tab Shear and Peel Strength
    • Elastic Creep and Elongation
    • Dimensional Measurements
    • Visual Defects
  • Immediately report defects to the Production Group Leaders; report any issue to Management that could jeopardize customer satisfaction.
  • Process final release of product paperwork.
  • Assist in quarantining any product suspect of being defective.
  • Enter test data in quality databases.
  • Observe Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety procedures.
  • Complete special assignments delegated by the Quality Group Leader.
Profile

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED required.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Good command of the English language, written and spoken.
  • Ability to read and interpret work documents.
  • Ability to work in teams.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Adaptability to frequent changes.
  • Willingness to work overtime or on a different shift if required.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Computer and statistical skills applicable to quality control inspection in manufacturing.

Pay

$23.40 (base pay + shift differential pay).
