Position Summary:

We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. You help shape our member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression.

In the Member Assist – Cart Attendant role, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot which includes helping members with their purchases, and ensuring there are carts ready and available. You will also assist members with loading their vehicles and support creating a great member experience. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go.

• Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by contacting members to notify when pickup time is delayed, informing members when products are unavailable, offering alternatives, ensuring products are selected and packaged according to company policies, ensuring items dispensed when members arrive, resolving member issues and promoting company products and services.
• Maintain safety of facility by conducting safety sweeps, following merchandise handling procedures, correcting and reporting unsafe situations.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, assisting purchasing decisions, processing purchases, handling payments, operating cash registers, locating merchandise, zoning, resolving issues, promoting products, maintaining carts, assisting with transport, using cart retrieval equipment, and maintaining parking lot cleanliness.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying them to business processes.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, resources, collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and identifying priorities, deadlines, expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress, recommending improvements, and adapting to change.

Programs range from high school completion to bachelor’s degrees, including English Language Learning and short‑form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
