Responsibilities
- Deliver a customer centric shopping experience by managing and delivering effective front‑end operations and expectations.
- Lead the omnichannel processes, including online and in‑store sales.
- Maintain store recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises and friendly customer service.
- Assist the Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
- Ensure execution of company policies and standards; hold the team accountable for store conditions and results.
- Plan and lead the execution of class and in‑store events in accordance with Company programs.
- Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
- Assist with cash reconciliation and bank deposits.
- Assist with inventory processes, including Return to Vendor (RTV) and Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) activities as needed.
- Assist with onboarding of new team members.
- Train, observe, and coach the customer experience team (sales floor and cashier) to achieve results.
- Participate in the performance management process and support talent development of your team.
- Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required.
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remain positive, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a role model.
- Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
- Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes, ensuring standards are followed and completed within budget.
- Cross‑train in custom framing selling and production (when applicable).
- Lead the delivery of high‑quality custom framing solutions on time, planning and managing the workload in partnership with the Store Manager (in select stores without a Framing Manager).
- Preferred:
Retail management experience. - Knowledge, skills, and abilities to manage store operations and lead a team.
- Experience with omnichannel processes, shrink and safety programs, inventory management, and event execution.
- Remain standing for long periods.
- Move throughout the store, bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch frequently.
- Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
- Work in a public retail store setting, including climate‑controlled and non‑controlled areas, and outdoor areas for retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks.
- Work hours may include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
- Frame shop may involve glass cutter and heat press.
