Business Development Officer – Trust Point Inc.

Trust Point Inc., a recognized Best Place to Work, is hiring a full‑time Business Development Officer for its Sales team. The role focuses on deepening relationships with centers of influence and identifying new clients for customized wealth and investment management solutions.

Compensation consists of a base salary with an uncapped commission structure. The company also offers pet insurance, identity protection coverage, a generous 401(k) and profit‑sharing plan.

A Day in the Life
  • Establish, maintain, and improve relationships with clients and centers of influence.
  • Participate in industry networking forums and professional associations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the services offered to serve clients and prospects.
  • Prepare and present proposals to current and future clients.
  • Build relationships, analyze client needs, and recommend appropriate services.
  • Create client development communication plans.
  • Continuing education in investments, trusts, estate planning, and retirement planning.
  • Volunteer and support local community initiatives.
  • Maintain current regulatory and compliance knowledge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of sales experience (required).
  • 2–3 years of financial/investment experience (preferred).
  • Proven track record of new business development.
  • High‑touch, client‑focused approach.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, integrity, and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team with highly credentialed staff.
Work Schedule

Full‑time hybrid position, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
