Regional Director of Sales and Marketing (Long Term Care)

Synergy Senior Care is a nursing home management company servicing 8 communities across Central and Northern Wisconsin. We believe in working as a team to provide guidance and support to our communities, and help them achieve the best level of resident care that they can.

We are seeking a driven Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for our growing nursing home group to serve as a regional level resource. The ideal candidate will be someone with solid experience marketing in Wisconsin based nursing homes and has well established connections with Wisconsin hospitals in the region surrounding the Eau Claire, WI area.

• Optimize leads, follow-up, and admissions of residents requiring a nursing home care, assisted living services, and independent living apartments.
• Regular contact with potential referral sources including hospitals, physicians, insurers, case management companies and health care agencies.
• Serve as a key member of the facility sales team.
• Conducts industry analysis annually and local market analysis quarterly. Completes the business development tool (sales plan) weekly.
• Ensures admission screening of potential residents, determines level of care, services required, equipment needs and insurance coverage, as appropriate.
• Ensures company processes are followed to ensure the clinical and financial approval process in a timely manner.
• Coordinates admissions with appropriate departments and staff.
• Contacts local community agencies to generate a positive image and encourage word-of-mouth referral activities.
• Ensures 80% of time is spent outside the building on census development in the local market.

• Long-Standing Relationships with regional healthcare organizations.
• Experience with physician and hospital staff relationship development
• Method-based sales, marketing experience with regard to generating referral sources
• Has established relationships with local social workers and discharge planners
• Excellent presentation and relationship building skills
• Minimum of 5 years experience in long term care sales/marketing/insurance preferred
• Must be able to travel 70% of the time on day trips to local health care institutions.
• Must have 3+ years multi-facility nursing home Sales and Marketing Director Experience.
