Position: Director of Industrial Sales (Brew & Distilling)

Lead an innovative team as the Director of Sales forBrew & Distilling, a pivotal leadership role designed for a dynamic professional passionate about craft beverage ingredients.

Key Responsibilities & Goals:
  • This position offers the opportunity to shape and execute the company’s strategic sales initiatives across brewing, distilling, and adjacent beverage sectors.
  • As a key driver of revenue growth, you’ll cultivate long-term partnerships, influence market expansion, and establish the company as a trusted leader within the industry.

Competencies Needed for Success:
  • Minimum of 10+ years in progressive sales and business development within the food and beverage industry, with at least 5+ years leading sales teams
  • Strong experience in specialty ingredients, brewing, distilling, or related sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate long-term supply contracts and manage key accounts
  • Excellent team leadership and motivational skills—able to develop, mentor, and inspire sales teams
  • Proficient in market research, data analysis, and leveraging insights to craft effective sales strategies
  • Deep understanding of distribution channels, especially within malt, brewing ingredients, and related markets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Experience in building relationships within craft and regional brewing, distilling, non-alcoholic beverages, or specialty ingredient markets
  • Knowledge or background in hops, coffee, tea, or similar raw ingredients
  • Experience managing through commodity price volatility or supply constraints
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, Fermentation Science, or related fields
  • Proven track record of building and executing successful sales strategies in the beverage ingredients sector
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience with technical, quality, R&D, supply chain, and marketing teams
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness and ability to relocate, with comprehensive relocation support provided
  • Ability to travel 30-50% domestically to nurture key customer relationships and industry presence
  • Familiarity with GMP, food safety standards, and industry regulations
