Job Title: Service Technician - Journeyman
Location: On-site & Eau Claire, WI

DescriptionAs a Journeyman Service Technician, you won’t just follow service tickets; you’ll solve real‑world challenges, elevate system performance, and shape environments that keep entire industries moving. Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC‑R systems for commercial and industrial customers.
- Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components within HVAC‑R systems.
- Interpret work orders and carry out assigned tasks with minimal direction. Accurately enter and close work orders using the Service software platform.
- Operate a variety of tools, equipment, and machines necessary for daily operations.
- Request and requisition repair parts, materials, and equipment as needed.
- Perform all work in compliance with established safety procedures, company policies, and industry standards.
- Take on additional assignments and responsibilities as needed or requested.
- Consistently adhere to all safety guidelines and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Completion of a one‑ or two‑year technical program in HVAC Service/Technology PLUS the corresponding HVAC experience required for Journeyman qualification.
- Must possess CFC/EPA Universal Certification.
- Proficient in HVAC‑R equipment and techniques, with the ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and applicable industry standards.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and emergency on‑call assignments as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the company professionally, ethically, and in alignment with our values and mission.
- Computer proficiency with the ability to learn and use a service software platform.
- This position will report regularly in person to Eau Claire, WI.
- Must join Local 434 union.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and remain in good standing in accordance with company driving policy.
