Stone Pro Inc., 7447 Partridge Road, Eau Claire, WI 54703 is seeking 10 temp., full-time brick/blockmasons to work at 2622 Ridgewood Street, Menomonie, WI 54751 & in Dunn, Barron, Polk, Pepin, Buffalo, & Trempealeau Counties, & in the Eau Claire WI Metro Statistical Area from 04/01/2026 to 12/20/2026 for $40.24/hr applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage rate due to exp.

Duties include:
Measure distance from reference pts & mark guidelines to lay out work, using plumb bobs & levels. Construct corners by fastening in plumb position a corner pole or building a corner pyramid of bricks, & filling in between the corners using a line from corner to corner to guide each course, or layer, of brick. Apply & smooth mortar or other mixture over work surface.
Calculate angles & courses and determine vertical & horizontal alignment of courses. Break or cut bricks, tiles, or blocks to size, using trowel edge, hammer, or power saw. Interpret blueprints & drawings to determine specifications and to calculate the materials required. Remove excess mortar with trowels & hand tools, & finish mortar joints with jointing tools, for a sealed, uniform appearance.
Fasten or fuse brick or other building material to structure with wire clamps, anchor holes, torch, or cement. Clean working surface to remove scale, dust, soot, or chips of brick & mortar, using broom, wire brush, or scraper. Examine brickwork or structure to determine need for repair. Mix specified amounts of sand, clay, dirt, or mortar powder with water to form mortar mixtures.
Remove burned or damaged brick or mortar, using sledgehammer, crowbar, chipping gun, or chisel. Inspect &assist in building scaffolding to ensure safety compliance. Must be able to lift & carry 80 pounds 20 yards. Must have 12 months of exp. No prior edu. required. Daily transportation to/from the worksite will be provided. Approx. 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, with Sat. work as needed.
Hours are 7AM-3PM, with up to 15 hours of OT which may be available but is not guaranteed. OT rate is $60.36. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due & pay biweekly by check. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck as required by law. Any advances will be deducted with the consent of the employee.
The employer will provide housing as an option to the employees. Employees who elect to live in the housing will have an additional $116.00 deducted per biweekly paycheck for rent & utilities. Employer will deduct the reasonable cost of damages &/or replacement of tools &/or equipment if such repair or replacement results from willful neglect or gross negligence of the employee.
Employer will deduct the reasonable cost of negligent damage to lodging facilities & vehicles. The worker will be reimbursed for transportation & subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment, in the first workweek at a rate of a min. of $16.28 per day to a max.
of $68.00 per day with documentation of actual expenses. The employer will provide or pay for the worker's cost of return transportation & daily subsistence from the place of employment to the place from which the worker, disregarding intervening employment, departed to work for the employer, if the worker completes the certified period of employment or is dismissed before 12/20/2026.
The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide to the worker, without charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
