Trillium Construction is now hiring in Eau Claire, WI!
Our client is a top electrical contractor specializing in commercial electrical projects throughout the country, but mostly in the Midwest. They are now hiring for an Electrical Estimator to work out of their Eau Claire or Hudson office full time. This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary of up to $125k plus benefits like M/V/D, PTO, 401k, etc. This company is growing rapidly and need to expand their estimating team, come be apart of the growth!
Duties- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documents.
- Prepare detailed, accurate electrical estimates for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
- Solicite and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment of scope and budget.
- Conduct site visits when necessary to gather relevant data.
- Monitor and update cost databases and historical records.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and post-bid reviews.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, codes, and standards
- 3+ years of experience as an electrical estimator or in a similar role in the electrical contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installation methods.
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Accubid, McCormick) and Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license is a plus but not required.
