Mobile Trailer​/Mechanic Technician

Overview

North Central Utility (NCU) is looking for a self‑motivated and results‑driven Mobile Service/Trailer Technician to represent NCU in the semi‑trailer service industry.

NCU is one of the largest semi‑trailer dealerships in the nation, operating 10 locations across Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota.

• Perform a variety of trailer repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers
• Perform DOT inspections on trailers
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair trailer bodies, systems, and components
• Inspect, service, and replace trailer parts
• Test all systems and equipment for performance issues
• Compile inspection reports, document repairs and report findings to manager
• Respond to mobile service calls
• Use and promote industry best practices
• Maintain and promote a safe work environment
• Use and promote PPE and the use of safety equipment
• Perform any related tasks assigned to them
• Assist Service Manager and/or Shop Foreman as needed

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Basic set of tools and previous experience preferred
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
• Driver's License (Required)

Full-time

• Day shift M-F (No weekends)
