Experienced Forklift Mechanic

Atlas Toyota Material Handling, LLC is seeking an Experienced Forklift Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain Toyota forklifts and warehouse equipment for wholesale and industrial customers. In this role, you will perform troubleshooting, planned maintenance, hydraulic and electrical repairs, and safety inspections in shops and customer facilities. You'll interpret service manuals, complete work orders accurately, and communicate findings to customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on Toyota forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections to minimize downtime.
• Complete repairs efficiently following OEM standards and safety procedures.
• Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical bulletins.
• Document work performed, parts used, and labor hours in work orders accurately.
• Communicate repair status, recommendations, and options to customers and supervisors.
• Maintain company tools, vehicles, and work areas in a clean, safe condition.
• Support a customer-first, safety-focused culture and follow all company policies.
• Collaborate with parts, service, and operations teams to ensure timely repairs.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and stay current on equipment updates.
