Maintenance Technician 1st Shift

Veritas Steel LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift at our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment that supports complex steel bridge and structural fabrication. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; diagnosing equipment issues; performing repairs and adjustments; and accurately documenting work. You'll work closely with production and engineering teams in a safety-first, team-oriented environment focused on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to grow your technical skills and career.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Support safe startup, operation, and shutdown of manufacturing equipment
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage accurately
• Collaborate with production and engineering to minimize downtime
• Follow all safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirements
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential failures early
• Maintain tools, work areas, and equipment in clean, safe condition
• Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
