- SCHEDULE:
- Training: 1st shift (6:30am – 3:00pm) up to 6 months
- Regular: 1st shift or 12 hour rotating shifts (6:30-6:30), based on seniority. Must be available for on-call shifts if operationally require

As a Journeyman Maintenance Technician
, you’ll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape. Your day-to-day:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment safely, efficiently and in compliance with all plant policies and procedures, including motors, conveyors, and pneumatic and hydraulic components
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repair on equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturing specifications
- Develop procedures for improved knowledge on machine operation, change over and troubleshooting
- Follow LOTO and additional safety protocols and procedures
- Operation of various machinery and equipment, including forklifts, hand tools, conveyors, etc.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Use maintenance software (CMMS) to complete work orders, report hours and issues
- Journeyman Millwright/Mechanic certificate required
- Extensive work history in manufacturing or industrial environment is ideal
- Knowledge of maintenance mechanic skills, including, but not limited to: pipe fitting, welding, mechanics, rigging, motors, machinery, vibration analysis, etc.
- Understand the importance of safety, teamwork, good attendance and production demands
- Able to work with heights and with different powered equipment
- High school diploma/GED is required
