Master's Level Counseling / Social Work InternshipFamily Centered Treatment (FCT) – Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI
Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is seeking a paid, parttime Master’s Level Counseling / Social Work Intern to join our Family Centered Treatment (FCT) team beginning Fall 2026. This 9‑month internship offers hands‑on clinical experience while supporting families in their homes and communities.
About the Role- Provide individual, family, couples, group, and substance use counseling under supervision
- Deliver psychoeducation, skill building, and therapeutic mentoring
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop strength‑based treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in weekly clinical supervision
- Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field
- Enrollment in a Master's program in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy
- Ability to meet internship agreement requirements with your university
- Free, high‑quality clinical supervision
- Access to internal trainings and support for external CEUs
- Flexible scheduling and hybrid remote structure
- Experience with an evidence‑based, trauma‑informed treatment model
- Hybrid: virtual meetings + in‑person sessions in homes and community settings around Eau Claire
- Some evening hours required
- Community travel and moderate physical activity involved
