Fahrman Center – Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan
Schedule: Full-time and part-time options are available. 3rd shift hours are generally 10:00 p.m.–8:00 a.m. on weekdays and 10:00 p.m.–10:00 a.m. on weekends. Specific days and hours will be determined based on full-time or part-time status.
Make a Difference Every DayLutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan is seeking full-time or part-time Adult Residential Support Professionals to join our team at Fahrman Center. Fahrman Center is a 42-bed residential treatment facility providing substance use treatment and restorative justice services for adults in a supportive, recovery-focused environment.
As an Adult Residential Support Professional, you'll provide guidance, supervision, and compassionate support to residents while helping create a safe, structured environment that promotes recovery and personal growth.
Please Note: Due to contractual requirements with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Fahrman Center must have one male and one female staff member on duty at all times.

Provide supervision, support, and positive role modeling to residents.
Build positive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
Observe, document, and report resident behaviors, progress, and daily activities.
Support residents in achieving individualized treatment goals.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations.
Monitor and/or administer medications in accordance with program policies.
Assist with meal preparation, housekeeping, grocery shopping, and other daily living activities.
Transport residents to appointments, meetings, and other approved activities.
Collect urine specimens for urinalysis and administer breathalyzer tests as required.
Facilitate educational and life skills groups within program guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality while communicating professionally with residents, coworkers, and community partners.
Attend required meetings and trainings.
Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to pass required background, caregiver, and medical clearances.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries while working with residents.
PreferredExperience working in substance use treatment, behavioral health, mental health, human services, or a related field.
College coursework in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.
DHS 83 training (Fire Safety, First Aid, Standard Precautions, and Medication Administration), or the ability to complete required training after hire.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and reliable transportation.
This position is based in a residential treatment setting and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and using stairs. Employees may assist with outdoor resident activities and seasonal property maintenance.
