Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

As a Penske Maintenance Supervisor you will use your excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills to engage diesel technicians, maintain team morale, and keep customers satisfied. Your core duties include coordinating, scheduling, and auditing vehicle maintenance repairs—preventative, mechanical, and electrical—for tractors, trucks, and trailers. You will also lead the hiring, training, and ongoing development of maintenance technicians to support high operational standards.

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customer needs
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske assets
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction
• Coach and mentor technicians and CSRs
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Other duties and tasks as required by the manager

• 3–5 years fleet maintenance management experience (or at least 3 years team management with strong operational metrics)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or technical school degree preferred
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license, class G or class 5
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and web‑based applications
• Regular, predictable full attendance essential
• Willingness to travel within the district for customer sites and training

• Ability to understand and follow instructions and guidelines
• Good visual acuity (close, distance, peripheral, depth perception) and verbal communication
• Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting; use of hands and arms
• Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
