Role OverviewFamily owned for over 60 years, Lakes Gas is among the largest propane providers in the Midwest. At each of our 60+ locations we operate with a small‑town, local feel, with employees who live in the communities they serve. Come join our winning team as a Delivery Driver.
Primary Responsibilities- Deliver propane, propane tanks and cylinders to residential and commercial sites while providing first‑in‑class customer service.
- Maintain and upkeep company and customer equipment, and perform plant maintenance activities.
- Operate and maintain handheld tablets; inspect vehicle and notify supervisor of needed equipment, supplies or routine maintenance.
$3,000 sign‑on bonus.

Bonus Terms- After 3 months of employment and achieving a minimum Class B license with tanker and hazardous endorsements, receive $1,000.
- After 6 months of employment, receive an additional $2,000. Eligibility requires being employed and in good standing at the time of payout.
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (or the ability to obtain them) without air‑brake restrictions.
- A clean driving record verifiable by a Federal Motor Vehicle Report.
- Must pass a DOT physical and maintain a Federal DOT medical card.
- Must be able to read, write, and clearly communicate in English.
- Must comply with federal drug and alcohol testing requirements.
- Safety conscious and customer service oriented.
- Ability to operate and maintain handheld tablets.
- Inspect vehicle and notify supervisor of needed equipment, supplies, or routine maintenance.
- DOT Hazmat training and maintenance every three years.
- Maintain compliance with all DOT requirements.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Lift up to 75 pounds.
- Pull delivery hose.
- Bend, climb, reach, and rotate as needed.
- Fill, load, secure, and deliver propane cylinders or bulk.
