Job Overview
PBNA $25.40 / hour
The role is a labor‑intensive warehouse position handling the hand‑building of pallets for both bulk and route delivery, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment as per electronic order system or paper sheets. The Warehouse Person uses a forklift or powered pallet jack to move cases, wraps and tags pallets, maintains a clean and safe work area, and may work across a range of temperatures and hours as required by workload.
Responsibilities- Drive a powered pallet jack or forklift to picking areas and build pallets or loads according to the load sheet or voice‑pick system.
- Mark load ticket for out‑of‑stock items.
- Wrap pallet when the load is finished.
- Turn in paperwork with the order for review before loading; ensure the truck is checked.
- Stage the pallet and/or load it into the truck when ready.
- Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets.
- Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area.
- Exercise reliable, predictable attendance.
- Lift and move high volumes of cases (20–45 pounds each) repeatedly throughout the shift, using proper lifting techniques and maintaining a safe working posture.
- Minimum age 18 years or older.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy items safely for extended periods.
- Experience in a warehouse environment, including order selection, product staging, and using powered pallet jacks or forklifts.
- Proficient in operating a forklift (basic operations, maneuvering in tight spaces, load handling).
- Experience with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets onto vertical racking and trucks.
- Team‑oriented work experience; cooperates with coworkers, problem‑solves collaboratively.
